Founded upon a mainly live-music policy, along with the provision of real ale and a more natural environment with plenty of wood finishes, and an absence of "plastic" the club has expanded and continued to develop over the years in an organic fashion. The club now offers an excellent selection of beers, lagers and spirits including of course a wide range of bottled beers. It also boasts a 7 kilowatt, state-of-the-art Bose/Thunder Ridge sound system.
